Obituary of Ruby Deborah Kashar
Ruby Deborah Renner-Kashar, 86, of Roosevelt, NJ passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Ruby was born in Pineville, Florida. She was winner of the Miss South West Florida Pageant in the 50’s. She went on and married her 1st husband, Richard Renner in 1960 and had her 3 daughters during the marriage.
Ruby and her 3 daughters moved to New Jersey In the mid 70’s. She worked a variety of jobs prior to becoming the first female Sales Representative for Superior Air Products in Sayreville, NJ. During her time with that company, Ruby had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world selling multi-million dollar air separation units to foreign companies. She then opened Tots-n-Toddlers Prep-School in Ewing, New Jersey that she owned and operated for close to 20 years.
After she closed the pre-school, Ruby and her loving husband, Arnie were able to enjoy their retirement by traveling the world and moving to Manahawkin, NJ for a content life down at the shore. After Arnie’s death in 1999, Ruby moved back to Ewing, NJ to be closer to her family. She remained in Ewing until after the death of her oldest daughter, Terri. She then moved in with her youngest daughter Patty in Roosevelt, NJ until her death.
Ruby was predeceased by her parents Jesse Gipson and Ardel McClellon; many siblings; her husband, Arnold S. Kashar; her daughter, Mary Theresa Renner; and grandsons, John Richard Baist and William Joseph Byrne. She is survived by her daughters Victoria Byrne and Patricia Baist; grandchildren Amy Novack and Jenna Baist and great-grandchild Ella Novack, as well as many nieces and nephews.
