Obituary of Valiant Richard Manz
Valiant Richard Manz, 76, of Brick, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Ocean Medical Center. Valiant was born in Bronx, New York. He was employed as a Fleet Service Agent for American Airlines prior to retirement. Valiant served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Some of his hobbies included, NHL hockey, he loved a good Jeopardy challenge, he was a history buff, enjoyed firearms, photography, was a NASA enthusiast and most of all his wife Theresa’s Italian cooking. Valiant was an active member of post 129 in Toms River.
Valiant was predeceased by his parents Richard and Marie Manz. He is survived by his loving wife Theresa Manz; sons Eric and Richard Manz; daughter Melissa Hoyer; sisters Denise Florence, Victoria Skripak and Christina Manz and grandchildren Gina Morone, Richie Morone and Robert Manz. .
Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, July 9, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, NJ. A funeral service will be held at Freeman Funeral Home on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
