Obituary of Barbara Tripoli DeRobertis

Please share a memory of Barbara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Barbara Tripoli DeRobertis, 71, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, at home. Barbara was born in Syracuse, New York, and moved to New Jersey forty years ago. She loved to prepare Sunday dinners for her family and host gatherings at her home. She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with her husband and friends, knitting, reading James Patterson novels, assembling puzzles (the more pieces the better!), and decorating her home for the holidays. Barbara also enjoyed sharing fond memories of her childhood in Syracuse. She most enjoyed reminiscing about the times she spent ice fishing, hunting, taking road trips with her father, horseback riding, and baking with her mother. Above all else, Barbara enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, son-in-laws, and her dear grandson.

Barbara is predeceased by her loving parents Salvatore and Virginia Tripoli. She is survived by her devoted husband and soulmate of forty-two years, Paul; daughters Anne-Marie DeHaan (Andrew) and Christine Shulack (Matthew); son Gian; her beloved grandson Austin Michael DeHaan, and countless close friends and family.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, February 19th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle on Tuesday at 10:15 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel's Cemetery and Mausoleum.
