I'm so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I worked closely with Peter while I was coordinator of the Mercer County SHIP program and Peter's enthusiasm and willingness to help people make their Medicare choices meant he has impacted many people over the years. With his big personality, we always knew when he was in the building and he frequently spoke of his children and grandchildren to me with great pride. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Peter was a volunteer with the Mercer County SHIP Medicare counseling program where for eight years he assisted hundreds of people with their Medicare questions. He was a dedicated counselor, who liked to joke and tell stories to help people feel at ease. We will miss his presence both in the county program, and the state office where he also helped us during the busy fall season. Our condolences to Dawn, and to his family, and specially to his grandchildren who he proudly mentioned often.

I have very special memories visiting with you girls and your Dad. I remember being packed in the car for road trips. It was always an adventure and opportunity to learn new information. We listened to his radio’s music, about the landscape and world. I looked out the window taking in the scenery and enjoying being with family back east. Us girls we’re so close in age, so far apart living very similar lifestyles. I always had a special relationship with my father and I know you do as well. May these memories make you smile and bring comfort to your family. Thank you Cousin Peter for always welcoming us for fun filled visits. We love you. Love, Ashley Vener and Haley Fair
With love

We are heartbroken to hear of the passing of Peter. We so enjoyed having Peter over to our pool parties, going out to dinner and
just having him around. He so enjoyed volunteering at Penn/Princeton Medical hospital , helping where ever he was needed and his since of humor made people feel good as well as the staff there. Peter raised three beautiful daughter's on his own as he loss his wife at their early age, and he did a wonderful job! Bless you Peter, you will always be in our hearts. Sincerely The Vannatta family of Dawn.

Peter was a great guy and a long time friend. I called him "PEETEE ON THE SERVE" for 40 years dating back to when Pete, Rhonda, Rose (my wife) and I played tennis together.
We were so close as families, and I have a special place in my heart for the Kosarin family. I so admired his devotion to his girls (Mandy, Kristi and Chelsi), and his great efforts as a single parent.
With great sadness, I say goodby to my friend, Pete and I will think of him often.

I grew up in Flushing NY, next door to the Kosarin family, Max, Dorothy, Linda, Peter and Nina, their dog.
Although it has been a very long time, the memories of those days are vivid in my heart and mind. A wonderful family, lots of socializing between us, both parents and children.
Most of all I remember my brother's buddy Peter Kosarin. They were more or less the same age and from time to time allowed me to play with them. We'd stand in the middle of 169th Street, playing stickball until it got dark. We had so much fun together. I can see Peter, myself and my brother sitting on the Kosarin s side stoop playing with tiny soldiers. We also sat under our big maple tree in the front of my house and I would tell both Peter and Jimmy that I communicated with the ants. They were skeptical but I am a good tale teller.
We'd often go over to Donald Weiss' house and play marathon Monopoly until Mrs Weiss got fed up and removed our board
The last time I saw Peter was at my brother's wedding. He was in the wedding party and he looked so darn handsome.
People and pets leave us but we still hold onto the memories…that is what keeps us going.
Goodbye Peter. I had hoped we would meet again.

I am heartbroken to hear of the untimely passing of Peter. I remember a handsome and sweet little boy (my first secret crush). Lately, he was a facebook friend sharing frustration at recent politics and apt quotes and cartoons.
Strangely, I saw Mark yesterday because he was displaying his amazing photography at an art show in Boca Raton. But he did not tell me about Peter...maybe he didn't know at that time. My condolences to Linda, Peter's girls, and the entire extended Kosarin family. You are all, always, part of my youth and my heart.
