Tony and I have many fond memories of Josephine from spending time with her at various Sacco celebrations over the years. She was such a fun-loving lady. We considered her the role model for aging. We will miss drinking wine and visiting with her. Lucille and Tony Adorante

Josie was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was full of life and energy. I loved visiting her with Ursula. Josie would take out her roasted peppers and her candy stash. I would never refuse her offers of food and snacks! I knew not to refuse! Josie was a gem, one of a kind and to know her is to love her. I will miss her smile and sweetness. Maria Crispo

Q: What will you miss most about Josephine? A: I will miss Josephine (Aunt Dolly) for the love she showed to me. She was always so happy when I rang her bell to stop by and chat with her. We had so many things to talk about to each other. She would always try to give me something to eat or drink. Her hugs and kisses will certainly be missed. Until we meet again I will miss you so much Aunt Dolly ❤️

Q: How did you meet Josephine? A: I first met Josephine (Dolly as many of us called her) approximately eight years ago when I moved into her deceased sister’s (Phyllis) house across the street from Dolly. She was 89 years old and still had enough energy as three people. She was always kind and loving. We hit it off right away because she and I were both from Brooklyn. We used to talk a lot in her house and in her garage. Everyone loved her. I’m happy that she is with Jesus now. She will be greatly missed. Her son, Danny , and her daughter, Ursula, as well as all her family greatly loved her.
