Obituary of Alfonso Delgado

Alfonso Delgado, 95, of Freehold, NJ, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020.  Born in Cuba, he came to the United States in 1957 with his wife, Onelia Delgado and his three daughters and originally resided in Long Island City, NY.  They moved to Freehold almost 30 years ago and Alfonso retired from Norkus Foodtown as an accomplished baker.  He was a loving husband, father, grand father and great grandfather.

Alfonso was predeceased by his wife Onelia in 2018. He is survived by his daughter Barbara and husband Dr. Richard Brown, of West Winfield, NY;  daughter Zoila and husband Anthony Miranda of Freehold, NJ; daughter Miriam and husband Nicholas Franke of Jackson, NJ; grandchildren Rachel DeLuca (Peter), Oliver, Andrew (Erin) and Dr. Maria Brown, Matthew  (Jennifer) Miranda, Jennifer Donofrio, Christina Okerson (Kyle), Michael Miranda, Nicholas (Pauline), Melissa and Daniel Franke;  great grandchildren Emma and Megan DeLuca, Amorin and Alden Brown, Brittany Gobstin, Jade and Gianna Miranda, Miranda and RJ Donofrio, Kyle and Isabella Okerson, and Ryleigh Franke. 

He was deeply loved and will be missed by all those who loved him.
