Obituary of John Anthony Rosella

John A. Rosella, 58, of Erie Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, February 10. John was born in New Brunswick, NJ, and moved to Pennsylvania when he became a student at Penn State, where he graduated with a degree in Business Management.  He was employed by General Electric for many years.  John was a follower of Jesus and dedicated to the Christian faith. 

John was predeceased by his father, Michael.  He is survived by his mother, Helen; his son and daughter in law, Joshua & Melanie; his daughter and son in law, Rachel & Shane Ramsey; two grandchildren, Charlotte & Aubree; as well as his brothers, Michael, Thomas & Edward; and his sister, Theresa.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North on Monday, Feb. 18 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a service beginning at 12:00 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.

John was passionate about helping to support the orphaned children of Romania.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John’s name to the Giving Hope Network – P.O. Box 155 - White House Station, NJ 08889 or by visiting www.givinghopenetwork.org.  These donations will directly support the Romanian orphans.
