I worked with John at GE for 8 years. He was a pleasure to work with and be around. He was always kind, level headed and passionate about his work and the impact he had on others. John was very proud of his family. He loved to tell the story of getting stuck in an airport during a snow storm on the way to his son Josh's wedding. Rest in Peace.

John was a good man and a good friend. He was so proud of his children. It seems like he was just telling me about his plans for his annual father/son outing, this year to Washington DC. He will be missed by all of us at General Electric. Rest in peace John.

I am new to GE and I was fortunate to work with John for last 7 months. John was a good teacher and he stayed calm during difficult situations. He was available anytime to help Customers and GE. I had the pleasure of working with John over the last 12 years in a variety of roles. John helped guide me early in my career when I was a coop working with his shop in Emporium. He was always willing to help, talk through things, and share knowledge with an upbeat positive attitude that things would work out. Through the years, Johns career and I have continued to cross paths. He continued to be an expert in each role that he had, and was a go to guy with any questions you'd have. If he did know the answer, he would keep going until he found it for you. He was always working day and night to learn everything he could. John was a great guy and will truly be missed. I had the good fortune to work with John periodically over the years at GE. I was always amazed by John's level headed approach to even the most complex and challenging situations. John was always willing to support and assist. My deepest sympathies to John's family. God has certainly called home one of the good ones.

John worked with us at GE Transportation for the last eight years and was universally admired as a total gentleman, an extremely hard worker, and a great friend. He thoroughly enjoyed coming to work every day, and that he helped solve problems for our customers was one of his constant sources of pride. He will be remembered and missed by the many, many people whose lives he has touched. Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss. The Foley Family
