Obituary of Charles Arthur Armetta

Charles Arthur Armetta, 64, of Manalapan, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Brooklyn, he has resided in Manalapan for the past 27 years. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. Arthur was an automobile service director at Manhattan Lexus and Manhattan Motor Cars in New York City before retiring. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jane; his two children, Darren Scott and Lauren Paige Armetta; nephew and godson, Peter Armetta; niece, Karen Armetta; and two sisters-in-law, Camille Armetta and Marjorie Baldanza. Family and friends are invited to visit today, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 17th, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment will follow at the Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
