Obituary of Marie V. Young

Marie V. Young, 88, of Jackson, NJ, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Bartley Healthcare. Marie was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Manalapan, New Jersey in 1965.  She loved cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

Marie was predeceased by her parents Rocco and Rose Giardiello; loving husband William Young; sister Ann Giardiello and brothers Vincent Giardiello (Barbara) and Gaetano Giardiello (Joan).  She is survived by daughters Deborah Gustafson (Frank), Lisa Sinapi (Frank), Susan Danze (Philip) and Kathleen Oaks (Vincent); son William Young (Alma); grandchildren Danielle Young, Stephanie Weiss, Jessica Morley, Christina Young, Michael Gustafson, Paige Poling, Frank Sinapi, Joseph Poling, Philip Danze, Jonathan Sinapi, Lucas Danze and Eric Danze and great-grandchildren Maverick Huguely, Owen Elleman, Grayson Weiss, Connor Weiss, Nolan Weiss, Silas Morley, Stella Morley, Ryleigh Gustafson and Mason Gustafson.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, January 19^th , from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral service will be held at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery in Manalapan, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests memorial donations to Fishers Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation in Marie’s name.
