Obituary of Dario Costa

Dario Costa, 79, of Morganville, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Dario was born in Borgo Val Di Taro, Italy and moved to the United States when he was 13 years old. Dario was a tailor by trade, having worked at Bloomingdales for over 25 years. He loved gardening, cooking and spending time with his family. In his spare time he could often be found watching his grandchildren play soccer.

Dario was predeceased by his parents, Pietro and Ida Costa; brother, Corrado Costa and sister, Olga Leonardi. He is survived by his loving wife, Luisa Costa; daughter, Ida DiBlasi; son, Dario Costa Jr.; son in-law, Louis DiBlasi; daughter in-law, Rae Costa; sister, Gemma Tambini; grandchildren John DiBlasi, Louis DiBlasi Jr., Sophia DiBlasi, James Costa and Lia Costa and many heartbroken nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, January 2nd , from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Gabriel's MAIN Church in Marlboro, NJ on Friday, January 3rd  at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
