Obituary of William John Rainaud

On the evening of Sunday, April 26, 2015, Bill Rainaud, age 87, died at his home after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, in 2007. Surviving are his son Bill and wife Barbara, grandson Bill and wife Lorraine, and granddaughter Victoria; also his long-time partner Nancy Mac Neill. William Rainaud worked for many years as a NJ State Park Ranger at Monmouth Battlefield State Park. He was a member of PBA #222 and New Jersey Law Enforcement Supervisors Association before retirement and of Battlefield Restoration & Archaeological Volunteer Organization (BRAVO). Bill was a car enthusiast and mechanical whiz with motors. His quiet smile and teasing talk will be missed by those who knew him. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold NJ is in charge of the arrangements. William will be buried in his family plot at Old Tennent Cemetery on Thursday, April 30th at 10AM.
