Obituary of Margaret Mary Duncan

Margaret Mary Duncan, 96, of Freehold, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. Margaret was born in Trenton, New Jersey. She was a lifelong resident of Freehold, New Jersey and a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church. Before her retirement, Margaret was employed as a Business Administrator for the YMCA in the greater Freehold area for 50 years.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents George and Mary Cook; her husband George Rowland Duncan; her sister Elizabeth McGlory and brother George Wallace Cook, Jr. She is survived by her son Robert Duncan (Annie) of Freehold NJ; her son Keith Duncan (Kathy) of New Egypt NJ; her daughter Lynn Duncan of Freehold NJ; her grandchildren Travis Koziol (Lisa), Christian Koziol (Andrea),   Harold McDermott, Jr. (Meghan), Melissa Rossi (Mark), Allyson Wayne (Joseph) , Keith Duncan, Jr., Dr. Michael Duncan (Lauren), Christopher Duncan (Jessica) and 23 great grandchildren.                                      

Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, August 14th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold on Thursday, August 15^th at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
