Obituary of Carol Marie LaRocca

Carol Marie LaRocca, 83, of Brick, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Ocean Medical Center. Carol was born in the Bronx, New York before moving to Manalapan, New Jersey in 1980.  Carol was a staple in the community having worked at what was once Keystone Savings, Jersey Shore Savings, Sovereign Bank and finally Santandar for over 30 years.  A dedicated wife to Frank W. LaRocca, who predeceased her, Carol’s world was consumed by her love for her nieces, nephews and most importantly her grandchildren.  In her spare time she enjoyed “advising” her children, Frankie and Maria, about how to navigate life.  As she would say: “I’m just gonna say.”  Carol was smart, tough, stubborn and full of love. 

Carol was predeceased by her parents the amazing John “That Man” Saccacio and the love of his life Frances Saccacio. Surviving Carol in her honor are her son Frank LaRocca and his wife Sara, of Freehold NJ; her daughter Maria LaRocca Devaughn of Brick NJ; her brother Dom Saccacio and his wife Verena, of Irvine CA, and her grandchildren Noelle and Marissa LaRocca and Johnny Devaughn.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, August 16^th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
