I want to say that meeting Jack in the pool room was quite an amazing experience . As I got to know him, I began to realize that he was a gentleman and a pleasure to be around. Although I only knew him for a short period of time. He was fun and a great pool player . I was fortunate to have gotten to be around him. G-d bless his sole and family. Heaven now has an amazing tenant . Rest in peace my friend

It was the smile, the smirk, the fist pump, his enormous heart, his kindness and his genuine caring that you gave a piece of your heart to Jack from the start. My husband and I had the honor and privilege of his friendship for a few short years but in that time, our love grew for him, his beloved Barbara and his beautiful children Jenna, Marc, Georgina & Gorgeous. Jack would always say, "My Wife Is My Life", he meant that with all he was. We will always love and miss you Jack, till we meet again. Our heartfelt condolences to Barbara and family, you are all in our hearts, thoughts and prayers always. Love you Joe & Debbie

Our hearts are filled with sadness for Barbara, Jenna and Marc. Jack was such a powerful life force for so many years, providing all he could to ensure his family's happiness. His absence will be difficult to accept. But because he was so magnanimous in all ways, the volumes of fabulous memories will live on. All our Love and Support, Robbie and Meg

My deepest sympathies to the Family. Jack established himself as an Iconic figure in our industry! His intelligence, understanding, ability to build relationships and know how to establish brands and business was unmatched! In addition to these qualities, Jack knew the importance of charity and giving back. His deep sense of family and friendships was also the foundation of his life.
We have All lost a larger than life soul who made our world a better place. Jack your legacy will surely live on in Each of us who had the good fortune to have you in our lives. Scott Gerber

Jack was truly one of a kind. He was extremely competitive and loved a good competitive challenge. I will miss him on the golf course and all his antics and sayings. I am sure he is telling God how to run things better in heaven. The good news is I will see him again in heaven because I know he knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior. RIP Jack , until we meet again. "That's just what I do". God Bless. VB

I had the privilege of working for Jack at Somerset Importers from 1984-1987. Jack was an incredible mentor to me and whatever success I had in the industry can be directly attributed to the guidance Jack provided in my formulative years. Jack led by example, inspired everyone with his work ethic and was always there when you needed him. Jack’s business acumen was second to none and the love for his family was unsurpassed. May his memory live forever. Love you Jack.

Dear Barbara, Jenna and Marc.
My deepest condolences to you and the Battipaglia family.
I first met Jack when he and Bobby were sharing an apartment in Queens. Jack walked in with a baseball bat and he had just won a game and was very happy about it.
Keep your memories close to your heart.
Live,
Nancy

Penny and I met Jack and Barbara November 2018 and became instant friends and neighbors.
Over this short time Jack became one of my best friends, we laughed every night, spoke about everything no subject off limits. He was by far an amazing husband, father, brother and the best friend
Forever in our hearts, RIP buddy
Everyone here at Regency always spoke of Jacks golfing and pool abilities.

Jack had a big heart and a ready smile. He was such a good, generous, caring friend who was always eager to lend a helping hand. He had an endearing sense of humor and could have you laughing with just “that look” or funny, understated comment.
Heaven has gained a true angel and now he and my beloved husband can create quite a ruckus up there.
Only one Jack exists in a lifetime; I feel so privileged to have known him. Rest in peace, Jack. You are already missed!
Love, Gloria

I was fortunate to have had a relationship with Jack for 50 years. As a friend his loyalty was unwavering and could always be counted on whenever anyone was in need. As a business man he was smart, driven and had enormous self belief. But nothing was more important to Jack than his family, his loving wife Barbara, both children, brother Bobby and sister Laurie, their families and his many cousins too. BTW, If there are golf courses in heaven Jack is now making sure that everyone behaves correctly! May he rest in peace.
