Obituary of George W Height, Jr.

George W. Height, Jr., 92, of Freehold Twp., passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Center for Hope Hospice Care. George was born in Long Branch, New Jersey. He enjoyed playing golf, cooking, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. George enjoyed gospels and he had a great love for the Lord. Before his retirement George was employed as a supervisor for Environmental Services. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Raleigh, NC. George served in the United States Air Force and travelled all over the United States to many countries. In his travels, he met different people in many walks of life.

George was predeceased by his wife Sadie Height; his son George Height III; his daughter Vicky Height Clayton; his parents George Height and Ethel Banks; and sisters Clarice J. Tucker and Ethel Mae Sellers. He is survived by his daughter Joy Bullock; step-daughter Latoya Turner and nieces Margo Maduro and Sandra Simpson.
