It is with a heavy heart that I remember my colleague, Kristina. She was an incredible coworker who helped me with patience and wisdom. She was also a remarkable person—kind, friendly, and always full of uplifting energy. From the few chat we had about parenting, I could feel her profound love for her son. It is still hard to grasp that she is no longer with us. My deepest condolences go out to Jayson, Ben, and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Kristina will be greatly missed, and her legacy of kindness and warmth will continue to inspire us.

Dear sister,
I was all alone until you walked in and made me believe that you got my back, always. Soon we turned into friends and then into sisters. We spent half of our day together and laughed all day over our inside jokes. Together we cried at daily soaps, made music videos to "Backstreet Boys" songs as well as bunch of other funny videos (dad promised to find those tapes), played "Durak" for a wish, constantly connected to the spirit world through ouija board (mom used to always freak out about that), spied on the neighbors, had restless nights playing "Sims" and got in trouble for breaking rules and how can I not mention that we've always been partners in crime!
There are still so many things we didn't get a chance to do - take our kids on a family vacation, celebrate Aidan's 1st birthday, Jayson's 1st birthday and become old annoying but fun babulyas.
You were my little sister and I was supposed to protect you. I am so sorry that I failed to do that!
For some unexplained reason, God needed you as an angel more than I did and so you went to a better place. You are no longer here with us and my whole world shifted. Now it is my new reality and I will have to try and adjust to it.
I will cherish every memory of us and make sure to tell Jayson all the fun things we did growing up. I promise to be by his side every step of the way and won't stop repeating to him how wonderful his mommy was. I promise to take care of mom and dad, always. I promise to be a strong emotional support for Ben and help him in any way I can.
I will miss you sooooo much! I love you dearly! Thank you for being my unbiological sister and my best friend.

Dear Arthur, Marina, Ben, Jayson, and the Futermans,
It pains me so deeply to write this and I never thought I’d have to. I wish I had the words to comfort you, but the fact of the matter is this is an unspeakable loss that we will bear until we meet Kristina again. I come to God with heartache and confusion and am left with more questions than answers.
I cannot capture what she meant to me in a paragraph. I love Kristina with my whole heart. We went from young girls to women together, and I am so grateful for the time we shared. Whether she knew it or not, I wanted to be like her in so many ways. Kristina’s door was open to me and I always knew I could rely on her - whether it was for a laugh or a cry. Friends like her are once in a lifetime. We were truly a dynamic pair and our friendship only grew stronger with time - 600 miles between us made no difference. As she always put it, we were “friends for the soul”. I think pieces of our soul have left with her, but we must try our best to keep what remaining light we have aglow for her.

It is with enormous pain and a heavy heart that I remember my cherished memories with Kristina. I have known her from the beginning of her professional journey and always admired her. She would confide in me and after our chats she’d always say “it will all work out”. She always had a witty smile on her face.
Though younger than me, she’d scold me like a little kid sister and listen to me. I cannot imagine not hearing her jokes and laughter everyday.

Our heartfelt sympathies to the Godich and Futerman families. Ben and Kristina were our neighbors on Chestnut Way until we moved 2 years ago..Kristina always had a smile on her face and always had time for a chat. They were wonderful neighbors and always looking out for us. May her spirit live on in their son..

I had the pleasure of working with Kristina and wanted to share some memories. I never had a call with her where she wasn't smiling, and her presence always lightened the mood. We talked about her family, and she was very proud of her family and the history. We really bonded over motherhood, and my prayer is that her little boy will know how much she loved him. Kristina left a lasting impression on me and was a wonderful example of not getting too stressed about insignificant things, but rather putting people and relationships first. Continued prayers for her family and friends.

It has been my privilege and pleasure to be neighbors with the Godich family since they moved to Marlboro when Kristina was a baby…during that time my wife Ruth and i watched Kristina grow into the beautiful, brilliant and loving person that she was…she was a wonderful daughter to Arthur and Marina, a loving wife to Ben and a dedicated and devoted mother to Jason who, tragically and unfortunately will never know Kristina’s true potential as all of us have…she will truly be missed by all who knew her…we’ll miss your infectious smile, your contagious laughter and how you always took special care of all of those with whom you came into contact…Rest in Peace, Kristina
