I met and worked with Jim Pietrosh at JJKenny. JIm was a positive forward thinking mentor, I had many conversations with Jim, back in the 90's on technology, bicycles, etc! I was just sharing a mentoring story at work, about an engagement with Jim.
I googled Jiim today, after sharing my story at work and learned that he just passed away! Sad to learn but fortunate to have met and shared with Jim.
My deepest condolences to his family.

My four years at Cantor Fitzgerald would have been very hard for me if Jim P was not there to keep me sane and help me maintain the various systems we worked on together. I did not know he had passed until today - September 12 2024. I tried to reach him yesterday on 9/11. He leaves a hole in my heart that cannot be filled.

I was shocked and profoundly saddened to learn yesterday of Jim's passing. I met Jim when I joined JJ Kenny in August of 1987. He immediately impressed me with his genuine friendliness and perpetually cheerful attitude. We quickly became close friends. I valued his understanding of the Kenny environment and quickly learned what a wonderfully good and caring person he was. We ate lunch together daily and enjoyed talking about non-work-related issues. He was very proud of you and your ladies and loved talking about you. Always a pleasant conversation. Germaine and I were happy to acquire your twins' cribs and use them for our boys. We then passed them on to our friend's twins. Jim and I continued chatting as our careers continued and after we retired. We talked about everything, but it was always a fun conversation. He was really proud of how successful his daughters were, which I always said was thanks to you. Jim was a great friend and I consider myself privileged to have had him as a friend. Can I ask that you please give me a call, at 305-395-8954, so that we could talk about Jim.
