Obituary of Thelma Avis Wall
Thelma A. Wall, 97, of Tinton Falls, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at The Chelsea in Shrewsbury surrounded by her loving family. Thelma was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire and was raised in Freehold Boro. She graduated from Freehold High School. Thelma retired from the Monmouth County Hall of Records.
Thelma loved to entertain family and friends, reading, walking, playing cards and games. She was definitely a classy lady in so many ways. Thelma and Bud traveled to Italy, Ireland, Alaska, and throughout the states. They vacationed in Florida during the winter months visiting family and friends. She was involved in many community organizations. Thelma dedicated her life to her family. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her parents Fredrick and Ida Hewes; her beloved husband Henry “Bud” Wall; her loving son Dennis Wall and her siblings Fred Hewes, Harold Hewes, Theda Weidlich, Irene Brett and Dorothy Varga. She is survived by her loving daughters and their spouses Marilyn and George Beck and Cheryl and Bob Loosch; her adored grandchildren and their spouses Stephanie and Alex Napoliello, Heather and Brian Lakefield, Scott and Danielle Wall, Kevin and Rebekah Wall, Jennifer and Dave Stattel, Tiffany and David Smith, Bobby and Jamie Loosch and her adored great grandchildren Alex, Nicholas, Katleyn, Brandon, Mikayla, Katherine, Brielle and Troy.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday June 3rd from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home followed by entombment at St Rose of Lima Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Healthcare Services (Hospice) 105 Fieldcrest Ave, Suite 402 Edison, NJ 08837. Checks should be made out to Grace Healthcare Services.
