Obituary of John Ebbesen

John Ebbesen, 94, of Freehold, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at The Manor. John was born and raised in Freehold, New Jersey. John graduated from Freehold High School. He was a member and past president of the Noreg Lodge 466 (Sons of Norway) and the Marlboro Silvermead Community Club in Freehold. He was a parishioner of the First Baptist Church in Freehold. Prior to his retirement John was a mechanic for the Jamison & Son Bus Company in Marlboro.

John was predeceased by his wife Grace Ebbesen; his parents Sverre and Olga Ebbesen and siblings Clinton Ebbesen, Gardner Ebbesen, Eleanor Widdis and Dorothy Jamison. He is survived by his children Mary Pickett, Marjorie Havens, Robert Ebbesen and James Ebbesen; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, May 9^th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, NJ   A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at the funeral home at 12:30pm.  Burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold.
