Obituary of Lucille Murray

Lucille Murray, 81, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 peacefully in her daughter’s home in Marlboro NJ. Lucille battled with her medical issues and stayed strong to the end with courage and fortitude. Lucille was born in Brooklyn, New York and retired to the Jersey Shore.

Lucille always provided a good ear for listening and an open heart to love, her hospitality and nurturing ways touched everyone who knew her. “Down the Shore” provided legendary experiences for all who were blessed to know Lucille.

Nana is now resting with the great love of her life; Martin Murray, of whom she has greatly missed every day since his death in 2008. She is survived by her daughter Kim (Kenny); son Glen (Angela); sisters Marge and Aggie (John) and grandchildren Ryan, Katelyn, Julia and James. All those touched by her love will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Friends and family are invited to attend her memorial gathering on Friday, April 19th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A memorial mass will be held at St. Gabriel's MAIN Church in Marlboro, NJ on Saturday, April 20^th at 10:00 AM. Burial of cremains will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 683 N.
