Obituary of Diana Cruz

Diana Cruz passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Harmony Village, Care One of Jackson, surrounded by loved ones. Diana was 86 years old, born in Puerto Rico, eventually settling in Manalapan NJ.  She worked as an executive assistant for Morgan Stanley in NYC prior to her retirement.  Diana adored being around her family and friends, while her faith in God was her most cherished quality.

Diana was predeceased by her brother Pete Caban.  She is survived by her son Ron and daughter in-law Essie Cruz of Manalapan, NJ; her three siblings Miriam O’Connor of Long Island, NY, David and his wife Michelle Caban of Buffalo, NY and Margie Gonzales of Naples, FL and her grandchildren Krystin Cruz-Corcoran with her husband Ryan Corcoran and Stephen Cruz with his partner Melissa Furminger.

Visitation will be held at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Rt. 9 North, Manalapan, NJ 07726, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 20^th, and Thursday, March 21^st, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 3:15 pm.

Interment will be on Thursday, March 21st, at 12:00 pm at Ocean View the Cemetery Beautiful on Staten Island, NY.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be mail to Abundant Life Church of God, 632 Colts Neck Road, Freehold NJ 07728, or by Text (732) 994-6848 (include an amount), and you will receive a return text with instructions for your donation.
