Obituary of Robert Wunder

Robert H. Wunder, 81, of Freehold, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Care One at Holmdel. Robert was born in Queens, New York. He proudly served his country in the U.S Army. Robert was employed for Exxon-Mobil for over 30 years. His hobbies included fishing, socializing, and can be often found people watching.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Fred and May Wunder and his sister Valerie Basil. He is survived by his wife Martina Wunder; son Robert Wunder; daughter Gail Puleo (Peter); brother Gary Wunder and grandchildren Robert, Hannah, Julia and Christian.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, March 10th from to 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held at 8:45am on Monday, March 11th at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations be made to Wounded Warriors.
