Obituary of Rose Marie Solimeo

Rose Marie Solimeo, 101, of Marlboro, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in New York City and worked as a bank manager for Chemical Bank in Brooklyn, New York prior to her retirement. She was the matriarch of her family and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  

Rose was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary and her husband Arthur.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Bernadette and John Peragine of Manalapan; three grandchildren and their families, John A. Peragine & Tiffany, Joseph B. Peragine & Gina and Carla Rose Ratta & Michael and her eight great-grandchildren, Jackie Rose Peragine, John Joseph Peragine, Gianna Rose Peragine, Joseph M. Peragine, Gino F. Peragine, Michael A. Ratta, Giuliana Rose Ratta, and Milania Rosemarie Ratta.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ  07726.  A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Thomas More R.C. Church in Manalapan, NJ.  Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery Mausoleum in Marlboro, NJ.
