Obituary of Rosemarie Scipione

Rosemarie Scipione, 84, passed away peacefully at home on January 8th, 2024. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and was one of four sisters. She was admired for her classic beauty and kind heart.

Rosemarie dedicated her time on earth to taking care of others. She did so by being a dedicated mother to her three beloved children, a loving grandmother, and her time spent as an administrative assistant at a mental health facility. She was the type of person who was always smiling. She could make anyone laugh, and was quick to share a story or advice amongst the people she loved.

Rosemarie is predeceased by her parents Dominick and Florence Cassone, and sisters Josephine Matera and Patricia Lucenti.

Rosemarie is survived by her sister Carol Lazzaro, her beloved children Albert Scipione, Deanna Curry and her husband Patrick Curry, and Thomas Scipione and his wife Christine Scipione.

She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Patrick, Michael, Gianna, Gabrielle, Thomas, and Joseph. She was also blessed to meet her two great grandsons, Patrick Curry and Parker Marsh.

Rosemarie will be deeply missed and remain forever in our hearts.                           

A memorial mass will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, January 15th, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone, NJ. Services have been entrusted by Freeman Funeral Home.
