Obituary of Aniello 'Neil' T. Daniele

Aniello 'Neil' T. Daniele, 92, of Freehold, passed away on Friday, January 5th, 2024, in his home, with his wife and children by his side.  Neil was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He served as a Sergeant in the Marines during the Korean War and became a New York City Police Officer, working in the NYPD Midtown South Precinct.  He retired from NYPD in 1980.  He and his wife, Fannie, moved to Freehold, New Jersey in 2002.

Neil was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He was happily married for 66 years to his wife, Fannie. Neil loved cigars and Atlantic City trips. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.  Neil will be deeply missed.

Neil is survived by his wife Filomena (Fannie) Daniele; children Edward Daniele, Ann Giangiobbe and Bette Scuzzese, son in law, Vincent Giangiobbe, and 7 grandchildren, Edward Daniele, Vincent Giangiobbe, Christopher Daniele, Rita Giangiobbe, Nicholas Daniele, Neil Scuzzese and Matthew Scuzzese.  He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Bessie Daniele, sister Rita Daniele, and daughter in law, Lenora Daniele.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, January 9th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan on Wednesday, January 10th at 9:45 AM.
