Please share a memory of Ralph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ralph Papaleo, 82, of Marlboro, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at Raritan Bay Medical Center. Ralph was born in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Marlboro for 18 years.  He was active in the community and parish and was a 4th degree Knight in the local Knights of Columbus council.

Ralph grew up creating fun memories with his sister, Marie, and cousins in Brooklyn, NY and spent summers in Long Island, NY.  Ralph received a Master’s Degree from Fordham University and his PhD in Philosophy from St. John’s University.  Ralph was dedicated to educating and sharing lessons and inspirations with others. He taught Social Studies at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in the Bronx, NY for over 30 years.  He also taught courses at Ramapo College and wrote articles for the Knights of Columbus and the Rosemont Estates community newsletter.  He never missed an opportunity to share something he was passionate about.

Ralph believed that every day was a gift from God.  He truly enjoyed all of his hobbies including exercising, gardening, biking, billiards, prayer and reading scripture, and always learning the latest technologies.  He was a devoted family man and was married to his late wife, Anne, for over 50 years.

Ralph is survived by his son Glenn and his wife Jesica; daughter Cynthia and her husband Geary; daughter Donna; sister Marie; grandchildren Julianna, Isabella, Riley, Jayden, Ella and Parker.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, January 12th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Clements Church, Matawan on Saturday, January 13th at 10:30am.
