Our Beloved Sister Josie Procaccio was truly a reflection of the love and light of Jesus Christ and the two greatest commandments He taught us - to love God with our whole, hearts, minds and strength, and to love our brothers as ourselves.
When my Mom Effie and I moved to NJ 271.2 years ago, we met Josie at Monmouth Worship Center. We attended Bible studies held at her home. She was an amazing woman of God, warm, welcoming, friendly, giving - always with that beautiful smile. At one home Bible Study at Bill and Jan Scheerer's home, we each had to choose a prayer buddy. In her own inimitable accent, Jose turned to me and said, "Faye, will you be my 'body?' I said absolutely yes to Josie, and we have greeted each other as 'My 'body' ever since.
We rejoiced with her as she invited her family into the kingdom and watched as one by one Orlando and the children came to know Jesus as Savior. Josie was a tireless servant and true Ambassador for Jesus. Always ready to share the gospel with Scripture verses and an encouraging word. She was instrumental in so many souls coming into the kingdom. Her beautiful, genuine spirit leaves an indelible mark on our lives. We grieve her passing and will miss her dearly, but we know that she went home, welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My Mom turned 100 in May of this year, and what a joy and a blessing it was to have Josie attend her birthday celebration at Monmouth Worship Center. She loved her family and friends deeply and was loved in return by all who knew her. Josie will be missed sorely, but rest assured that her Godly legacy lives on in her children, their families, and the Procaccio family.
Our deepest condolences to Josie's entire family and circle of friends. Thank God that as the Bible says, we who know Jesus as Savior, do not mourn as people without hope. So let us comfort one another with these words:
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Sincerely,
Faye & Effie Turner

Dear Josephine,
I was shocked when I heard the news as we spoke just two days before and you sounded fine, although you did say that you were not feeling well enough to come to New Jersey for Christmas.
I always enjoyed our conversations. No matter how the conversation started, it always ended with Scripture. You were so knowledgeable in Scripture and wanted to share that knowledge with everyone who came into your path. I learned so much from you and you were so patient when I didn't understand something. You knew exactly where to find what I needed to learn. Thank you for always taking the time to teach me what I needed to learn.
God blessed you with something you always wished for, a trip to visit the Holy Land, and taking your whole family with you was an added blessing! Your family, whom you loved so much, now has a lasting, beautiful memory.
God must be so pleased with you, Josie and now you are with Him! Imagine, Josie, you are with Our Lord in Heaven!!
Thank you, Josie, for all that I have learned from you.
R.I.P. my friend

Josephine was my go to friend to call on any day of the week. She would quote scripture from the Bible to give me a reality check and get me right on track . She would always tell me read the Bible. She would say everything that has happened or is going to happen is in the Bible. Well, l know that her trip to the Holy Land with all her children and grandchildren was her dream come true.
I know that God lifted Josephine to Heaven and that she is with Orlando, her parents, her brother and every friend and family member that gave her a beautiful welcome reception ❤️ when she arrived. Josephine I love you and will miss all our Conversations. We all have an Angel in heaven looking over us and awaiting our arrival.
Although it is difficult for everyone you left behind I know in my heart that Heaven is everything you expected.
Love and miss you but I will continue my conversations with you
God has Blessed you and has answered your prayers
All our Love
