Obituary of Zoraida L Sousa

Zoraida L. Sousa, 45, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Zoraida was born in Brooklyn, New York prior to moving to New Jersey 34 years ago. She was a very down-to-earth person and could always put a smile on your face.  Zoraida loved her family, she loved music and she was a vault of documentaries.  She was a person who never judged anyone and was always ready to smile and have a good time.  As I am writing this for my sister I am receiving an overflow of messages from people sending condolences, she will be remembered by anyone who met her because she was an amazing person. She had the biggest heart and would give you the shirt off her back even if she had nothing.  She always encouraged me to go after my goals and wanted me to achieve everything in life, she was my cheerleader.

Zoraida is survived by her parents Antonio and Marilyn; brother Jeffrey and wife Viviana; sister Temika; nephew’s Vito and Enzo; niece and goddaughter Angelina; her boyfriend Chris; aunts, uncles, cousins and grandmother who all loved her dearly. 

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday December 10^th, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 11^th at 11:00AM .
