Obituary of Mark R. Mihaly
Mark R. Mihaly, of Manchester, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Community Medical Center. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, graduated from Freehold Regional High School and attended Brookdale Community College. Mark was employed as a parts sales associate for Freehold Toyota. He was an accomplished bowler, an avid golfer, and loved listening to doo-wop music. He was past President of Monmouth County Bowling Association and a life member of the United States Bowling Congress. Mark loved driving muscle cars and assembling models of them.
A caring son, brother, and uncle, Mark was predeceased by his parents Irene and Henry Mihaly. He is survived by his partner Christine Ruess; sisters Nancy E. Sweet (Rev. Stephen Sweet) of Paramus, NJ and Debra A. Mihaly of Freehold, NJ; brother David H. Mihaly (Heather Tunis) of Pasadena, CA; and nephews Christopher Sweet of Hawthorne, NJ and Bryan Sweet of Paramus, NJ. Friends and family are invited to a memorial gathering on Friday, November 17th, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold.
