JD spread nothing but positive energy to everyone around him. People like him are far and few between and I know he will be dearly missed by so many. I looked forward to his daily Facebook posts because they always made me laugh. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace, JD!

I’m saddened by the loss of JD. He was always a larger than life gleaming presence of positivity at Albright College. I ran into him a few times in Monmouth County and years later he appears to have maintained those same ideals.
My his memory be for a blessing.

Jonathan was my former manager at Bank of America/Willis until 2010. He had a heart of gold, was a friend to all, and had the driest and best sense of humor. We shared many conversations about family over the ten years we worked together and in the many years since them. The talks that stood out were how proud he was to be an uncle to Harrison and Gab and how much he was enjoying watching them grow up.
Just two months ago he was a reference for me for a new job opportunity. I was hired and found out later from my hiring manager who spoke with him that during what should have been a serious call to him for feedback on me, he had her laughing.
Only Jonathan could get away with that and make it work. I called to thank him for his input, and we had a last quick but nice conversation catching up with each other. He was always supportive when I needed him, as he was to anyone who called him a friend. Condolences to his family - he was one in a million and I will never forget him or the memories I have. Linda

I can still picture JD dribbling a basketball, crossing the half court line, coming to a stop to adjust his glasses without losing his dribble, and then going right in an attempt to make his move. Boy, time flies. While some of us are better than others in keeping in touch, JD seemed to truly embrace class of 80. A true core of the fabric of that wonderful class. May he rest and peace, and hopefully hit that jumper when he makes his move.

JD,
There are too many memories to recount. I will always remember you repeatedly quoting your mom: “Is that girl in the bathroom okay?” It was at the end of one of your classic New Year’s parties & I had too much champagne. And how about the time your car broke down on Rt. 72 on our way to an LBI Albright party.?! Nor can I forget the great conversations, the shared laughs, and all the milestones we spent together. We still had more to conquer, though.
You will be missed. ❌⭕️

JD represented all things good about growing up in Manalapan. He was caring and considerate, passionate and kind. He worked tirelessly on our class reunions and was always “in the know”. We will all miss JD, he was truly one of the good guys. RIP JD.

Jonathan was always kind enough to share his show recommendations to keep us up to date on the best shows to watch and told us which shows were super corny and which ones to avoid. He will be terribly missed.

JD You will be forever in my heart and in many memories of good times, not so good times as you called them, and even the worst of times. I am glad to have had the privilege of your friendship and so glad you got over your shock that you "didn't peg me for a Metallica fan!" LOL So many stories...so little time...and of course so many movie line-ups!
I am going to miss our moments and miss you like crazy, but I do believe we will meet again in a better place. So it's only goodbye for now...Until then, Rest In Peace My Friend.

With deepest sympathy to the Dunayer family. Jonathan was the best. Loved by everyone who knew him and his wit. I'm going to miss my friend who was there thick and thin.
