It breaks my heart to think that he is gone. “John A”, husband, brother, uncle, friend, …..MY GODFATHER. No matter how you knew him, everyone loved him. He had this wit about him, all the way up to his last day. He helped a lot of people and no one ever had a bad thing to say about him. He is a piece of Jersey City / Hudson County that cannot and will not be replaced. Remember him for who he was, the guy at the end of the bar wearing a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and a brand new pair of white sneakers; there to offer a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He will be missed by many but hopefully not forgotten.
