Dear Aunt Liz , I remember the fun times and laughs we all had together in your sister's and Nephew Michael's home. Cooked food we ate on the patio deck. Also New Year's Eve at Mike's house and how you and your sister would go to the front door when the clock struck midnight banging the pots and pans shouting "Happy New Year." What memorable moments of laughter to cherish. May God Bless Lisa, Michael and the children of the Caravaglio family. Sending prayers and condolences to all of you during this difficult time. Sharing the sadness of my Aunt Liz passing is not my intention, sharing her legacy is. My Aunt had a huge impact on my life. She taught me generosity and compassion. When I was a young child and my family fell on tough times, she never came up short on generosity. And at times, that was checking to see if we had enough food in the refrigerator. But her generosity and thoughtfulness and compassion continued throughout her life until her last day. Just recently when she knew her twin, my mom, was no longer able to read she sent her a years subscription of Readers Digest. You may ask yourself why! Because without asking me, she knew I would read her a short story every day. My Aunt and I enjoyed a glass of wine, or more together and when we were at family gatherings, and I noticed her glass half empty, I would slip it away and replace it with a full glass. She would gently touch my hand and smile, knowing we pulled this off without anyone noticing. It has been said that twins feel each others pain. That they are connected and communicate on a different level than the rest of us. They knew that this could be the last time they would see each other. Godspeed to a woman with a huge heart.
