Obituary of Doris Hannelore Haug
Doris Hannelore Haug, 85, passed away peacefully at Care One Assisted Living in Hamilton on March 26, 2023. Doris was born in Durlach, Germany, on December 22, 1937 to Liesel and Karl Hauck. She came to the United States in 1954 and married her husband Jack in 1959. Jack and Doris celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2019. The couple lived in Union for many years before moving to Colts Neck in 1973 and later to Allentown, NJ in 2003. Doris enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Doris was predeceased by her husband Jack. She is survived by her three sons and their spouses, John and Jill of Lambertville, NJ, Ralph and Angie of Furlong, PA and Eric and Debbie of Hillsborough, NJ, her grandchildren Kirsten, Colleen, Mitchell, Stephen and Hannah and great-granddaughter Charlotte.
There will be a private family burial at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. Donations in Doris’ name can be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital. Services are under the direction of the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home. To leave a condolence, visit https://freemanfuneralhomes.com/.
