Obituary of Rosetta Vaughn

Rosetta Vaughn, 91, of Cliffwood Beach, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Hackensack Meridian Bayshore Medical Center. Rosetta was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Englishtown, NJ.  She graduated from Jamesburg High School with the class of 1949. In 1950, she married A.C.Vaughn and later settled in Cliffwood Beach, NJ for more than 50 years. There, Rosetta and A.C raised a family that has grown to 5 generations. Rosetta recently moved to Fort Washington, MD to live with her daughter.  She was a homemaker and, prior to retirement, Rosetta was self-employed as a supervisor for Home Health Care.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jeremiah Warren and Mary Price, her husband, A.C. Vaughn, brothers Jeremiah W. Warren, William D. Warren, Lilaby (Danny) Warren, and sister Mary Mozell Warren. Rosetta is survived by her children, Linda Vaughn of Morganville NJ, Anthony S. Vaughn of Woodbridge NJ, Patricia D. Vaughn of Morganville, NJ, Arthur C. Vaughn of Punta Gorda, FL, Ronald Vaughn of ­­­­­Laurence Harbor, NJ, Deborah A. Vaughn of Fort Washington MD, Marci N.Vaughn of Cliffwood NJ, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

Friends and family are invited to visit on­­­­ Monday, February 27, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bethel AME Church, 3 Waterworks Road, Freehold, NJ.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.
