I knew Pat and Walt from Waldwick Auto Body, Scott started working in our family dealership in the early 80's. He was still a teenager yet had all the makings of a fine young man.... loyal, disciplined, hard working, friendly, anxious to learn and do a great job. We had lost touch for many years and reconnected a few years ago. I saw that young man had grown into yet a better man, strongly confirmed by these memories shared. Scott was a comfortable believer in his faith and country, contributed to his community and oh so dedicated to his loved ones. I am honored to have shared a small part of his blessed life. His family of friends at Larry Peter's will remember his spirit and love of life. Our sincere condolences to his loved ones and those who loved him. Loretta Deborah and Barbara Vinci

Scott's Patriotism and love of country was on full display when on September 11,2001 the world Trade Center towers fell. Without hesitation Scott aided the search teams by supplying tower lights and big heavy equipment supplied by his employer United Rental. He spent endless hours at ground zero assisting in the bucket brigade breathing in, and standing in toxic waste with little thought to his own safety. Many lost their lives on that day and the loss of life continues still. God bless you Scott and may peace be yours. Love Diane

I'm so appreciative to have had the good fortune to meet and work with Scott Dillie. He valued everyone he met and treated all with respect. Scott's smile was infectious and was always there to listen regardless of a sale. He defined humility. My sincere condolences to Scott's family, please know that he was truly appreciate by many. I knew Scott through UR and he was always available when I needed anything. Became friendly with Scott over the years and I am totally shocked to hear about his passing. Even over the last year when talking to him, he never said he was sick or battling an illness, yet he was always smiling. My condolences to his family.

Any time there was a paid football event, Scott would check in with me to see if any of our players weren't going because they couldn't afford to...and he'd offer to cover anyone who needed. Such a warm and caring soul. And I don't remember ever seeing him with anything but a smile on his face.
