Max. I remember you as a beautiful elegant player and spirit. Your team mates loved you on Cedar Stars. You always had a kind smile for us boring parents. There was something so gentle about your spirit, so evolved. We didn't talk much but there was something in your aura, something not of this world - like that Botticelli angel. I've seen your parents video of your short life on this earth. And it was beautiful to see how much love and support was there. and great to see you coaching the little kids. In my beliefs you are still here, just not to be seen by mortal eyes. Sweet Botticelli angel. I know you are still trying to give your family the compassion they need to get through this with your everlasting spirit.

I didn’t know Max but my daughter is a junior at Rutgers. As a mom my heart is broken for the parents. At some point along the way May you find some sense of peace in this so unfair tragedy. RIP sweet boy ❤️

My family and I are heart broken over the tragic loss of Max. We send our deepest condolences to your family and know that Max will watch over all of his family and friends.
