Obituary of Amelia Nicastro

Amelia Nicastro "Emily", 86, of Manalapan, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, February 9, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in New York City, she has lived in Manalapan for the past 20 years. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. Amelia was an office manager for a medical services company in the Bronx before retiring. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Dominick; her daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Scheurich, and Margarite and Charles Corsillo; sister, Antoinette Ferraro; four grandchildren, Jeannette, Danielle (Jason) Alexandra (Albert) and Meagan; five great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, February 11, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
