Obituary of Vincenza Jean Bussiere

Please share a memory of Vincenza to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the loss of our beloved mother. Vincenza Jean (Coppa) Bussiere passed on February 1, 2023 leaving her family and friends broken-hearted. Jean was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey where she met her high school sweetheart, Frank “Buzz” Bussiere.  They were married and moved to Edison where the two of them built their life together.  Four daughters and several successful businesses later, they retired in Marlboro to focus on the next chapter of their life - their eight grandchildren.

In life, every family has one person who seemingly holds everyone together and for our family that was Mom.  She was our family’s glue – selflessly ensuring that everyone was happy, peaceful, and enjoying their time together.  All who knew her will remember her open heart, her open door, and her open refrigerator.  No matter the season, or the time of day, at Mom’s house, you were always welcome. We will remember Mom for her unique knack for laughing during the good times, bringing a smile during the tough times, and spoiling her grandkids through both.

In death, Mom fought hard to her last minute. It would be wrong to say that she lost her battle; for she didn’t lose, she persevered. She was dedicated to life and was determined to stay with her family.  She remained positive – more positive than we could ever have asked her to be.  Mom showed unbelievable resilience and courage that her children and grandchildren will carry with them for years to come. She showed all those around her what strength really is. Though Mom can no longer sit with us at her kitchen table enjoying a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, a scratch-off ticket, or a hand of 500 rummy, she remains forever in our hearts. Mom, we hope you’re enjoying that casino in the sky.  We’ll play your numbers tonight - straight and boxed!

Jean was predeceased by her husband Buzz. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughters and sons-in-law:  Dana and Rich Miglecz, Janine and Joe Rosamilia, Liane and Joe Feyas, Sharon and Rob Jarvis and her sister and brother-in-law Lin and Bill Bush.  Her love of life and sassy sense of humor will live on in the hearts of her eight grandchildren: Gianna, Victoria, Adelina, Alex, Riley, Matthew, Casey, and Jace.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home. It was Mom’s wish to forgo a traditional wake and funeral. Rather, a celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 19th at Janine and Joe’s house. In true Jeanie fashion “THE MORE THE MERRIER.”  To leave a condolence, please visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com
