Obituary of Maureen Tripodi

Maureen Tripodi, 72, of Manalapan, NJ passed away on January 23, 2023 at her residence. 

Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 11, 1950, she was the daughter of James and Ruth O'Reilly and grew up in both Brooklyn and Texas with her siblings.
 

She lived an exuberant life in Brooklyn with her husband, Francesco (Frank) Tripodi, for many years where she was an excellent mentor to her daughter and the youth in her community as a Girl Scout leader. They enjoyed traveling to Italy quite often and Maureen became a fluent speaker of the language. The couple later relocated to New Jersey to be closer to their grandchildren.
 

Later in life, she formed a close bond with her stepdaughter Jeanne Medwed and her children and granddaughter.
 

She was deeply devoted to her family throughout her life continuing to do so even as her health failed her and is predeceased by her parents, twin sister Kathleen D'Amico and sister Julianne O'Reilly.
 

She is survived by her husband, brother Kevin O'Reilly, daughter and son-in-law Francesca and Pasquale Givelekian along with her two adoring grandchildren Matteo and Marianna Givelekian, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
