Obituary of Esther Gold

Esther Gold of Freehold NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023.  She was surrounded by the people she loved most, her family.  She was 91 years old.  Also by her side and throughout her last months was her dearly loved aide, Jane. Esther was a Manalapan resident for nearly 40 years and resided here with her husband Danny and her children.  Her compassion for people led her to a career as a nursing home administrator which she began doing when she was a young mother of 3 and living in the Bronx.  She had no formal education or training – but she was amazing. Esther was an amazing person – So kind, so loving, so giving.  She always thought of others before herself. 

She is survived by her children Sandy, Michael and Nina.  Her son-in law Joseph, her grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Keely, Keith, Derek, Dawn, Krista, Jacob, Jason, Regina, Gage, Evan and Grantlee and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Scarlett, Dylan, Claire, Jonah, Julian and Branwen. Her passing will leave a void in the hearts of everyone she touched. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. God has taken another angel into His care God speed Mom.  Rest in peace.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, January 23rd, from 10:30am to 11:30am, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A funeral service will be held at funeral home on Monday at 11:30am.
