Obituary of Maria Curcio

Maria Curcio, 86, of Monroe Twp, NJ., passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Jewish Home for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Freehold, NJ. Maria was born in Caltavuturo, Italy. She was a seamstress in the garment industry in Brooklyn, NY. Maria enjoyed cooking, dancing, music and spending time with her family and friends.

Maria is predeceased by her parents Cologero and Maria Sortino and her husband Joseph Curcio; her brother Mario; and her sisters Frances and Giuseppa. She is survived by her sons Alfonso Ribaudo and daughter-in-law Carol Squindo and Anthony Curcio and daughter-in-law Marie Curcio; sister Rosalia and brother Antonio and her grandchildren Matthew Ribaudo, Jaclyn Ribaudo, Gabrielle Curcio and Alyssa Curcio.     

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, January 3, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Manalapan, NJ on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Park Cemetery.
