Obituary of Janet Marie Bailey

Janet Marie Bailey, 79, of Freehold, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Newark, NJ and lived in West Keansburg, Howell, and North Carolina before moving to Freehold in her later years. She was married to her late husband Jimmy Bailey for 59 years and have 3 loving children James, Keith and Shawn.

Janet enjoyed 4 things – trips to Atlantic City, keeping a very clean house, sweeping the floor, and re-arranging the furniture. Janet also loved being around her family, family trips to Florida, and family cruises.

Janet was predeceased by her husband James Bailey and her parents Joseph and Mildred Cirrito. She is survived by her 3 sons James and his wife Heather Bailey, Keith Bailey, and Shawn Bailey and his girlfriend Wendy; her grandchildren Ryan and his girlfriend Stephanie, Kevin, Amanda, Danny and Sydney; her sister Carol Errico and brother-in-law Vinny.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, November 14, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main St. Freehold. Friends and family are invited to attend a repast celebration after the visitation at Huddy’s Restaurant in Colts Neck. Alzheimer’s is a horrible disease that robbed Janet of her later years.
