Uncle Kenny,
The world is a bit more still now since you left it, and the sound of silence has replaced where your laughter used to be. It is hard to be believe that we will no longer hear your voice or witness your larger than life personality during holiday celebrations, game-day dinners at Fireside, family occasions, or spontaneous summer days spent by the pool. I think I will miss those moments the most, the ones that were unplanned and filled with nothing but the sharing of life stories, belly-bursting laughs, and making tons of silly, wacky faces at one another.
You were a truly one-of-a-kind man, uncle, husband, father, and friend; and we will cherish all of the loud, hilarious, thoughtful, and encouraging moments that we were able to share with you throughout the years. I wish so much that we could share more of these moments together, there is still so much we all have left to show you. But I know you’ll be watching over us, and I am grateful to have an Angel like you by my side.
Thank you so much for showing us all the love that you did, for being Aunt Debbie’s ultimate best friend, and for being a great father to Kenny and Alexis. I love you and I will miss you. Give everyone up there a big hug for us, we’ll see you all on the other side.

Dear Uncle Kenny,
The holidays just got a whole lot more quiet, didn’t they. Out of all our distant family, we’d always find ourselves together. From Christmas, to a random Thursday in the summer, we’d be chasing the dog through the yard as he (and than she) ran around with a towel in their mouths.
You witnessed it all. Me playing football, going to college, trying to walk-on, getting stung by a wasp for the one and only time, going from eating just 3 things at Thanksgiving to now eating at least 6, and so much more. You saw me grow. You saw everyone grow. It pains me that you won’t be able to see what we become. You had a part in raising not just your kids, but us as well. We damn near spent half of our childhood at at your house, or least in conversation with you from afar.
You’re in a better place now, though. All the stress you had has faded away. You’re with your family now, parents and siblings. I bet big Dennis was up there at the gates with his teardrop tattoos waiting for you. Give them all a hello for the rest of us, will you? We’ll see you again when it’s our time.

Dear Brother in Law, I will forever miss your smile, your sense of humor and your undeniable sense of style. I will miss calling my Sister on a daily basis and always finishing the conversation with you. I thank you for the love that you had for Debbie and for bringing two of the most wonderful and caring people into this World, Kenny and Alexis. I have known you since we were teenagers and I have many memories that I will treasure. I am glad to have you as an Angel beside me and I know that you will be up there watching over all of us. I love you Ken and I will miss you.
