Emily and my mom, Nellie, were friends since high school. I grew up knowing Emily and we spent wonderful times at Mom’s shore house. She was always fun and told the greatest stories. We laughed a lot and I loved her. I am so glad I went to visit Emily in March. It was something I had wanted to do for a long time especially after Mom passed on New Years Eve. I am sure they are together again celebrating.
