What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man. We are blessed by the legacy he leaves with us here on earth. It’s amazing to see the lives he touched throughout his lifetime and now in heaven as an Angel. Rest In Peace and thank you, Mr. Tampone. I'm so sorry to say goodbye to my dear cousin Fran. We go WAY back. He was my big cousin Fran. So many memories of my childhood in Yorkville with big cousin Fran. And wonderful memories from family get togethers with cousin Fran and Rose and family. We shared a LOT of memories and I depended on him when no one else could remember things.from my childhood in the city. Now it doesn't really matter, the remembering, other than it was so GREAT that you were you Fran and I looked up to you and the beautiful marriage you had and the wonderful family that you and Rose gave to the world. I know how welcomed you were when you got to the other side. How much your mom LOVED you and so did AUNT EL. And now that you're not bound with earthly restrictions. - please come to Mt. Tremper. - I'll be looking for you. My prayers and heart are with all of you - his beautiful legacy of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.

Well Dad what can I say, I have such a empty feeling inside right now but that’s ok because I know you are finally at peace and not hurting. I’ve admired you the way you fought so hard and did all the doctors asked of you. The fight may be over but the love you have for your family will be forever. You and Mom have taught us all the importance of family and we all will continue that with our families. Thanks for being such a great Dad and the worlds best Pop Pop to your incredible big family. Our condolences to Aunt Rose, Fran, Roseann, Rob, Donna, and Debbie. I will always remember Uncle Fran for his warm sense of humor, and for his almost magical ability to gather children around him, to organize games, and for his genuine caring and enthusiasm among kids of all ages. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and he would be proud of the lasting legacy he has left behind. With all our love, Elliott, Kerry, and Audrey.

My warrior, you put up a good fight for almost two years. Now it is time to rest easy. I am honored to have walked beside you through your battle. You were not a large man but you had a very large presence. Everywhere we went you knew someone or someone knew you! You made a point of greeting everyone and had a knack for remembering names. Family always came first with you and you instilled that in all of us. Your unwavering faith has inspired us. You are definitely leaving a large hole in so many lives. Everytime I raise a glass I will be remembering you and missing you! So here's to you Dad and your wonderful life! Luv ya lots and will miss you until we meet again!
