Obituary of Frances N. Stryker

Frances “Nora” Stryker, 90, of Freehold passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at home. She was born in Wagon Mound, NM and resided in Freehold for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she was a secretary for the Borough of Freehold.  Nora was also a member of the American Legion Post 54 Ladies Auxiliary.  Frances enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and knitting. She was a social butterfly and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Frances was predeceased by her husband Henry A. Stryker, Jr.; parents Peter and Fedalina Abreu and her sister Selma Clawson. She is survived by her children Lynn Burtt (Michael), Henry Stryker III (Judith) and Michael, grandchildren Lori, Michael, Casey, Terese and HA and great grandchildren Katelyn, Connor, Joseph and Dominic.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 20, 2022, from 4pm – 8pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, NJ, 07728.  A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Thursday April 21, 2022 at 10:30am. Interment to follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
