The joy that Artie brought to all who knew him is his legacy. The countless numbers of kids at John Jay to whom he taught swimming will always remember him, too. His irrepressible nature and positive spirit helped to lighten the load we all share. A smile comes every time I think of him and that will always be as he remains in all of our hearts.
