Obituary of Carol Ann Dorsey

Carol Ann Dorsey, 81, of Manalapan, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold. She was born in Jersey City and has lived in Manalapan for 30 years. Carol loved her grandchildren, gardening, traveling and cooking. She was a parishioner for many years at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Carol was very proud of her accomplishments and friendships she made while working at Merck Pharmaceuticals for many years before retiring in the late 1990’s. After retirement she was a devoted volunteer of the Open Door Mission in Freehold.

Carol is predeceased by her parents John and Catherine Blaney and her brother in-law Edward Galli. She is survived by her children; William Cowan, Kevin Cowan and Catherine Meidling (Joseph); sisters Catharine Galli and Patricia White (Butch); grandchildren Madelyn, Cassidy and Joseph Meidling.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday April 1, 2022, from 4-8pm at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 N Manalapan.  A funeral liturgy will be held at 11:30am Saturday April 2, 2022 at St. Thomas More Church, Gordon’s Corner Rd. Manalapan.
