MaryEllen Mauro, 68, of Manalapan, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, after many years of surviving against the odds.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY and she resided in Manalapan for 34 years. MaryEllen enjoyed spending time with family and friends, spoiling those she loved, and relaxing at the beach.  MaryEllen had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. 

 

MaryEllen was predeceased by her husband Phillip and daughter Toni Ann. She is survived by her daughter Melissa Mauro-Small (Martin); brother Stephen Myers (Antonetta); Grandchildren Keira, Michael, JP and Emma; Nieces Natalie and Nicole, Nephew Stephen, and her best friend Dolores Farran of Marlboro, who was more family than friend.

 

All arrangements are under the care of Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be planned for the Summer of 2022.
